he main goal of this research was to determine whether the pedagogical practices in virtuality adapt to the characteristics and challenges of online learning environments, in this case, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic in higher education in Paraguay. The methodology is a descriptive text with a non-experimental design and a quantitative approach. Several teachers -118- from public and private universities in Paraguay answered a questionnaire. The coverage and quality of the Internet in the whole country was deficient. They carried out academic activities such as virtual lessons, team work and the team's system was the most used for teaching classes.
