This study addresses Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, with the aim of understanding the ethical risks that its use may have, but at the same time mphasizing how it helps the teaching- learning process. A qualitative systematic review was carried out through a documentary technique supported by the PRISMA diagram. Ten articles were selected and divided into three categories of analysis: “Artificial Intelligence in the 21st Century: ethics in the educational system”, “Education and Artificial Intelligence” and “Artificial Intelligence to Improve the Teaching-Learning Process”. The results revealed that AI can ersonalize learning, predict student performance, create interactive educational content, and provide immediate and accurate feedback. However, it is crucial to address ethical challenges, ensure adequate teacher training, and protect the privacy and rights of students.
